The Bridge

A powerful initiative to standardize training and upskill existing talent, across India.

THE BRIDGE

Industry:Industry: IT/ITES
Location:Pan India
Size:600+ employees
Company Bio:Back-office ITES catering to multiple industries

Our client was a niche ITES provider with an employee base of 600+ staff across India.

We created an exclusive program, customized to the client’s operational requirements, to standardise training across branches and create fully skilled trainers from within the existing talent across all the major business zones of the client organization.

  1. Non standardization of training delivery resulted in varied efficiencies across different locations / offices.
  2. While managers had varied levels of subject understanding, there was a lacuna in terms of capability to impart the same as a behavioural trainer.
  3. There was a strong requirement to upskill managers to merge operational applicability into classroom sessions.
  4. There was a need to localise training to reduce the business cost.

Our panel, encompassing trainers, and operationally astute experts created this comprehensive learning intervention, after a detailed diagnostic consisting of:

1. Interaction with business leaders from the client side through in-depth 1-1 discussions.
2. Information gathering through confidential questionnaires to assess skill sets and lacunas in productivity.
3. Deep discussions with the Learning & Development team to understand backend IT support and thereby decide the scale and roll out of the campaign.

The program was designed such that it was a 3-day session covering three components: experiential learning, upskilling and implementation culminating in a formal certification as trainers.

Having certified trainers across India, we have also partnered with the organization to create product and process training content encompassing a detailed facilitator guide and a mandatory Train-The-Trainer for each module to ensure the continuation of the new and more effective training methodology already imparted into all trainers via
 “The Bridge” :

  1. The competent trainer base increased dramatically from 0 to 8 trainers, with a standardized training mechanism, in line with the company’s operational goals.
  2. Product training has been standardised, where trainers have learnt to read standard facilitator guide created by Aquilar in line with the training methodology and deliver the same across all locations in India.
  3. Business heads have verified that this program has helped in increasing the productivity of staff as well as improvement in sales by over 3x times than before.
